How Our Paving Work Is Done

Asphalt Paving Noblesville builds and maintains asphalt driveways, private lanes and small commercial lots in Noblesville and the surrounding towns of Hamilton County and western Madison County. The work includes new driveways, resurfacing overlays, parking lot paving, sealcoating, repair and crack sealing, and line striping.

Central Indiana is till-plain country. The ground under most lawns is a layer of silty material over dense glacial till, and the soil scientists who map it describe common series like Crosby as somewhat poorly drained, with water perched within a couple of feet of the surface in winter and spring. Pavement built on that kind of ground lives or dies by its base and its drainage. So our estimates start there, not with the blacktop.

At the estimate we measure the area, check where water runs and where it sits, probe soft spots, and look at where your driveway meets the street. If the project reaches into the public right-of-way, we explain what the City of Noblesville or the town involved asks for before any work is scheduled. Every dig is preceded by an Indiana 811 locate request.

The written quote lists each part of the job: tear-out and hauling, base work, compacted asphalt thickness, edges, and any sealing or striping, each with its price. Work starts only after you approve it, and a change in scope is written up for your sign-off before it happens.

What you can expect

  • Soft subgrade is dug out, not paved over.
  • Base depth and asphalt thickness appear on the quote.
  • Paving waits for ground and air temperatures that let hot mix compact.
  • New asphalt is not sealed until it has cured for several months.
  • Commercial layouts are checked against the 2010 ADA Standards before striping.
  • You pay for the work you approved in writing.
